Area By Area Forums

Hello, to make things easier to organize and easier for us to post possible meetings, events relative to the local areas we all live in, why don't we have something like 'Chicago Area Toyota Owners Club (CHI-TOC)' under the Toyota Car Club forum? I wouldn't mind offering to admin this we can agree to this? Your thoughts?

good idea but the problem i see is that to be fair everyone would want their city to be added. This would then be left lots of forums becoming empty.

However, east coast, west coast etc etc might work a tad better.

Sounds like your already on it steve :D

Goretro city by city would never work but area's would and like the UK you could have a big one every year like JAE where you book time of work and make the effort to attend.

If everyone added there location it could help to sway things

this sounds really similar to waht i said, and i think its a good idea...but people say it might take away the international view of the forum...but it will bring local users closer..and easier to organise events....ect.
