Lucida Lights?

Hi, this is my first post. I have just bought a 93' k plate estima Lucida 2.2 td manual (F).

I havent got a handbook as yet and just wondered if anyone could answer a couple of questions for me.

1. There is a small green light situated on the top of the dashboard centrally. It seems to only light up from around early evening and stays on when I get home quite late, but is always out the next morning, any ideas what this light is for? it doesnt seem to affect anything else.

2. Inside the headlights at the front of the car either side of the grill, there are, what looks like spot lights, however I can find no switch anywhere to switch them on? any ideas would be very helpful.

Other than that I am well chuffed with my new car, much more space than the Galaxy I had previously, I am really pleased.

If anyone can help or make any suggestions I would be really grateful.

Dunno about the light in particular, but a manual is often available on eBay.

Hi Nige,

Just got my Lucida P reg today, well chuffed but also very confused about the (Spot?) lights.

Also mine had a mystery red switch, which turned out to be connected to a remote engine starter.

I hope the answers are forthcoming as I would like to know also!!!! :)

The light on top of your dashboard could be an auto healighlight switch Ie in turns on your headlights automatically in the dark and off during the day. Try and let me know
