Hey all, does anyone know the torque for the 1NZ-FE conrod bottom end bolts?

its really difficult to get any information on this engine as there doesn't appear to be a haynes manual or anything for the T-sport or the engine.

Cheers Brad =)

p.s. anyone know the torque over the whole engine?

Best to go to specialist mate or even talk to mechanic at main dealer!

They'll be yield bolts. You don't take them to a specific torque. Instead you take them up to a specific torque and then wind them on to make the bolts go into yield (the bolts are specifically designed to take it.

I don't know the spec for the NZ engine for the initial torque and angle but if the torque doesn't increase by more than 6Nm over 30 degrees of turn on you'll have it torqued up alright
