Nah mate, there’s no competition racing the R5, RS turbo or VTS. None of them will race me where I live; I have to play with the GTIRs and WRXs.

If your car does 0-60 at book speed 0-60 = 6.9 surely you don't stand a chance against a WRX, not to mention the handling...

What mods do yo have on there !

Well the new Imprezza WRX does the 1/4-mile in 16.9 seconds the old one in 14.4. So I’m not that far behind the old one and can easily keep up with/ beat the newer one. The 0-60 might be better due to the 4-wheel drive but over the 1/4 mile there isn’t much in it. Also an Escort Cosworth has a 1/4-mile time of 14.9 seconds the Sierra does it in 14.8. I never said I beat them I just said I played with them.

My mod’s are-

HKS Super Drager exhaust

HKS Racing Suction Kit

Blitz de-cat pipe

Bleed valve set at 13psi

FSE power boost valve

Lowered 35mm on 15 inch wheels

Pagid fast road brake pads

I've added all the mod's myself, it’s cost me a fortune but it’s been worth it. I’ve got loads more planned for it, bigger turbo, front mounted intercooler, programmable ECU, fuel pump, etc.

so what's made the most performance gains out of all that lot then and where did you get the mods from?

getting very curious!

I'd say the induction kit made the most difference, along with the exhaust. The difference in performance was amazing, I couldn’t believe it. The old exhaust and air filter are so restrictive. Together they turned my boost up so much I started hitting my fuel cut and I had to fit a bleed valve to turn my boost down. The noises they make are wicked as well, I sound like a rally car. You can hear me a mile away wheezing, popping and roaring down the road.

I've got most of my stuff from either Fensport or Graham Goode Racing in Leicester.

Hi there toyota club members, I have a EP91 (1996) starlet with a 4E FE engine and was wondering if there's any point in doing an engine conversion of a 4E FTE or would be best to just buy a starlet glanza. If i would like to do a engine conversion but I am having trouble in selling my existing engine. Anyone interested? it's only on 32000 miles, are there any good companies that would i can trade or sell engines with?

Thanks for anyone that can reply and help me............cheers.

I've got the Starlet Turbo engine in my Sera.

The Starlet can be tuned to the 300+hp mark if required...

Grp 8 - 17. Every insurance company seems to have there own classification for them. I was quoted Grp8 +50% as its an import from Admiral.co.uk Worked out more expensive than my previous grp14 car......
