Hey i know this is a wierd question,

Do any of you know how high a Black Top should rev,

I know the Silver Top reaches 8400rpm but how high should a BT go,

I ask because i had mine on the Dyno and it barely touched 7800rpm, not to mention only managing 145 Bhp

Cheers for any help on revs or increasiong bhp,

Black tops should i think go to 8200,

they should be a genuine 155 on the rollers

my old silver top went to 7900-8000 i think.

are you sure shes BT what year car is it and are the throttle bodies black as well

I think my rev counter might not be accurate as it show's 8,400rpm on the redline. I think early ST's go to 7,800rpm, later ones to 8,200rpm and BT's to 8,200rpm.

thats a BT alright....hey why are you running through one filter?....you should of gotten rid of that big airbox long time and run individual velocity stacks, those things sound SWEEET.....ive got a ST so i have t run it through the AFM :(

Yeh im running an arc airbox atm, i wanna open them up tho, gotta get me some stacks.

Would my car run with a silvertop ecu then? i will check mine 2moz, hope its not a silvertop 1, then again that would solve some problems!
