Now I'm probably missing the point, but, after making a fool of myself when trying to fill my Aygo, I read the instructions. Key in the lock, turn left around about 15-20 degrees, turn back to the right, remove key and unscrew cap. To lock, replace cap and screw tight until it clicks, done.
