It will depend on which model you have. On the Tspirit it is very easy. Basically you pop up the horizontal plastic cover plate over the gear lever. Turn it around 90°, remove the ashtray, then you pull the vertical centre console panel towards you and up easing it out. If you have a T2 or T3 this is more difficult as the rotary heater controls (with cables etc) make extraction more difficult. Once the panel is removed you will see 4 screws holding in the radio unit. Remove these and the cd radio should come out.

Hope this helps. Have you had any problems with your New corolla?;)

I asked this elsewhere already , but I will repeat the question here:

Anyone know the actual manufacturer of 2002 corolla in-dash radio-CD?

I experience some rattling behind my left ear (could be the saftey belt holder), also, when driving over some short sharp bumps, there is some load and irritating rattling in the back...the repair shop says it is the rear bench and that they usually fix these problems at the first scheduled service...anyone have similar problems?
