To run in parallel with Chatman's topic about reporting the RAV's you see out in the big wide world, I thought it would be nice to see what generation of RAV everybody inside the TOC drives.

I think I have covered all possibilities but if I have missed something out please let me know. My apologies to XT3 and XTR owners for making them share a box, I do hope you will forgive me.

It's a multiple choice question, so tick all the boxes that apply to you.

Thank you

You could be right, maybe I should have split it into three question but it's my first time at this!

Anyway I'm more interested in the raw numbers than the % figures.

Thanks for voting

Chatman, another vote for the blackstuff :lol:

Fuj, your poll does raise a question from me though (I may have asked in the past)

why is the diesel not available with auto box ?

Dave. :D

Dave,

I can only guess that a mid size 4x4 diesel auto is to smaller market niche to justify the production costs.

Large 4x4's are almost expected to be auto, again maybe they think customers in line for a diesel auto will slid into that larger class of vehicle.

But, glimer of hope, with the increasing sales /popularity of diesel cars generally, one day that might change.

Well, the early exit polls show that:

the 4.2's (12) are just ahead of the 4.3's (11) by a short neck :horse:

the Diesel mob (17) are storming away from the Petrol crew (6)

and the XT3/XTR's are level with the T180's.

That's right. The trim level, the model name. XT5 has more toys than an XT4 which has more toys than an XT3 etc.

Thank you for voting

NG NRG GX VX the latter being with leather etc... These were the trim levels between models 4.1 and 4.2 the the 4.2 had a face lift...round fog lights and interior chages...radio buttons on the steering wheel etc.

Then the trim names changed to XT3 XT4 XT-R XT5

The new shape RAV 4.3 also has the T180 version now as well
