Right.... so the mkII stereo is a double din.... there'll be a single din stereo in the top.

Is there some sort of blanking plate you can get for the bottom half... so I can put some switches on it.

There is a cubby box you can get for this. I cannot remember the part number. Club MR2 can supply these for around £20 - £25. Call them on 08454582108

I was after a black plate to go over the front, so that I could drill switches into it...

It doesn't give a complete 100% perfect fit... but close enough with a little fiddling.

So where did you get it from? Just Halfords? We have an Audio Island here whihc is excellent for everythign ICE.

Halfords should have it mate...

If not, then just get the part number from them and go online.

Not very good quality tho.. and like I said can be a bugger to get to look alright... but once it's in and sorted then it's fine.

You should be able to fabricate something better yourself (if you like doing DIY). Some plastic acrylic would make a good front, then some brackets to attach it to the stereo holder. I'm going to look into this soon as I wan't to mount some dials here.
