Anyone on here use Zune software to stream MP3's to their 360 from the PC?

I have installed it and cant seem to fine any of my MP3's on the 360 when I look.

Where do I save the MP3's and where do I save the play list?

You can use windows media player (the latest version) to do it mate. You don't need any weird software.

I can't remember how I did it, but once you set it all up, you don't need media player running etc.

There's bound to be a guide somewhere.

I'm sure you use windows media player to select which folder?

Do a search on google or the xbox site. You'll find the answer.

I'll give it a go again in a few days and see what I can get going.

use media player 11 to search for files which it will add to the library. you then use the 360 to play them, same for videos.

does it search the whole hard drive or just in 'my music' 'my vids' etc?

Just certain locations (which you can chose) and not your whole harddrive

Plus make sure your firewall settings are correct (probably best to turn it off first) on your pc ;)

and the xbox will only play .wma videos unless you get some third party software or convert your movies, but hopefully MS will add certain formats ie .divx with an update

Its easy with WMP Jappy.

In Windows Media Player, click Library, Media Sharing, Select Share my media, OK. Windows Media Player will search for devices on your network.

Click your console, then click Allow. When done, click OK.

On your Xbox 360 console, in the Media area of the Xbox Dashboard, select music, Pictures, or Video, then select Computer.

Hit Yes/Continue, then select your PC.
