Hi I'm new to this forum so apologies if this topic has been answered in another thread.

I own a 7th gen toyota celica, recently the Battery in the key fob has started to die. I now have to open the doors using the key. Can anyone advise me on the procedure for replacing the key fob Battery and Will the fob need re-coded.

thanks

Chip... all u need to do is make sure u dont take ure time doing it.. get the Battery first,or take it along to ure local dealer and they should do it for you.. Fink the Battery required is CR1616.. if u do do it yourself make sure the Battery isnt out of the fob too long or u will require recoding of ure key..
