'90 Carina Ii - Horn Relay Location

Hi, I have recently purchased a 1990 Carina II.

The horn doesnt work. I am trying to find the horn relay's location

The actual horn functions, the horn switch is functioning and I have checked that there is 12v at the switch.

If anyone has any info on its whereabouts or a wiring diagram (or where to get one) I would really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Frank.

The Fuse and relay locations are detailed in the Toyota Owners Manual.

Thanks for the reply. I've had a look through the owners manual. The horn relay isn't mentioned.

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Frank.

Does a horn have a relay? It surely just has a fuse? There must be a continuity problem with the wiring somewhere?

There are a lot of relays and connectors (and even circuit breakers, I think) in the two front door pillars. Down at the bottom to the side of the footwells. On the driver's side there is a fuse panel and the other stuff is above this. On the other side it is in the same place but you have to take a lot of the car apart to get to it.

But, I don't know if the horn relay is there. The wiring diagrams don't definitively explain in a way I can understand where the various relays are.
