94 Supra Manual Non-turbo

I have a 94 supra, manual non-turbo

Just recenlt the hand brake warning light, and a little indicator on the engine lights( it is orange in colour, funny looking icon, orange color, like a tap) turned on.

Car hasnt had any funny day on the street on anything, just not sure why those lights come on.

When i turn off the engine and start it again, it comes back.

Very worried...

The 'handbrake' warning light's main job is to warn you when the brake fluid is low. If you're sure you're not losing brake fluid somewhere, it probably means your brake pads are pretty much worn out.

I don't know about the other one though, sorry.

Firstly check your brake fluid level.

Next you need to check what the error code is thats causing the engine light. Come back to us if the brake fluid isnt low and we'll go through the error light trick with you B)

I have done a diagnostic, error code 42 comes up

Error 42 is a problem with the speedo. Has the speedo been converted from KLMS to miles?

Sounds like a dodgy convertor
