You could try DataManuals.com. They have workshopmanuals for most models, but not the Carina because that is an european model and it is an american website. If I'm not wrong there was 4A-FE engines in the corolla until 1999 or 2000.

You could also try ElectronicManuals.co.uk, they have a manual for all toyotas from 83 to 98. That is my best advice if you don't want to buy the Haynes manual 3256. I don't think Haynes has the manuals digital.

Are you able to download torrent files? If so, search The Pirate Bay for toyota carina and you may find what you seek.
