Help Please With My Mk1!

hey guys... well i have seemed to run into a problem...

my 1986 mk1's lights sometimes just shut off from time to time and and so does the guage lights... after a quick slam on the switch box, the lights go on but sometimes one or the other...

anyone have a fix? or at least know what it is?

Sounds like it could be a doggy earth connection somewhere, but i'm no sparky! Try posting on IMOC someone will know over there,

lol nah i hade the same prob in both of my 1984's and also in my 1989. its a imple fix really....just go get another switch from a wrecker and install it..its only the connections in the switch....just watch when undoing the plastic that when you do it back up you dont do it to tight...the plastic cracks really easy!
