Hi All

I am looking to purchase a 3,0l Auto Surf, are ther any particular models that I should be looking for.

I under stand the model change chassis in 1995 and the 2.4 is a no no. I need some advice as to what to look for when purchasing ie: gearbox problems, rust in particular areas, ect,

Any information greatly recieved.

I have had a 1997 3.0 3rd Generation for over 3 years and its been good a gold. The only problem I've had has been the spare wheel carrier (door mounted) which rattles when the wheel is on it. Solution has been to carry cans of punture repair and leave the spare at home!

hi mate and welcome,

i had my Hilux surf imported direct from japan, she got 60,000km on the clock and looks/feels like new

the 3.0lTD is much better option than the 2.4

got mine from from these guys

service was great,
