can anyone tell me the size of the standard tires on a yaris t sport. (i would look at mine but its in being repaired so cant)

185/55/15 i think without going outside in the cold frosty night

they are 185/55/15, but a cheaper and better alternative is to buy toyo proxes 195/50/15, aim to pay around 35 all in per corner. this makes a big difference to the handling and theyre cheap!

thank you, the reason i ask is because i want to switch to low profiles whats the ideal size to have the minimum sidewall on show?

you can the goodyear f1's Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 version for £48 each or £59 fitted. Its the one's autoexpress test as thier no.1 tyre.

the only thing i dont know is if a 195 can fit on a YTS alloys as the man a kwikfit says the rim with is wider on a 195 alloy ?

wheel widths will take a bit either way, narrower or wider e.g a 5.5" rim will take say a 175 to195 tyre., your meant to go narrower for better handling( less sidewall movement), but the 195 50's are cheap, cos theyre a common size i think, and seem to be good,by the way your not going wider to improve grip as surface area has little to do with the level of grip.
