Carina E Door Problem

hi, guys any one help out there i have a p reg 1.8 carina e and now have a slight problem of the passenger side door will not open with the key ect from inside and out, dose anyone know how i can open the door? without destroying the door

Does toggling the central locking switch on the drivers door have any effect?

Faced with this I would look at extracting the passenger seat through the drivers door. This will give better access to removing the inner door card from the passenger door. I'm sure it can be done with a bit of patience!

The way in has to be the door card. If you destroy this in the process it will be much cheaper to replace from a breakers. removing the drivers door card as well may give you an idea as to where to drill to get access to a mechanism rod (use a 'hole' drill - you might minimize the damage this way)
