Alternator Interference Through Speakers.....

Anyone else get/had this? how did you sort it if you did...

Have a sneaky suspision my altenator may be on its last legs which may be the cause, but im not sure.

Any suggestions?

beat it witha rubber mallet

Not had a problem with the altenator interfearing with it but if you have RCA leads near power cable it can do might be worth checking that

I solved this on a escort by changing the spark plugs to resistor type /hope this helps :hokus-pokus:

I seem to remember that on stereo systems belionging to older cars, that a suppressor used to be fitted not to the alternator, but inline with the 12V Input wire to the Stereo. However, I could be wrong....
