Hi,

Right I am 17 and ive just passed my test and I want to buy a yaris. Can anyone give me any advice on which one I should get as insurance would be high but I really want a T-sport :( and im female, so if I got the car any suggestions on where to get some good insurance prices? Also are there any good sites where I can look for some body kits or any other mods.

thanks

sian

Hi there,

I found that Tesco was the cheapest by quite a margin, and have found this not just for my Yaris but for other car makes too. To be honest, even the cooking Yari (is that the correct plural btw?) make pretty good first cars.

Cheers,

A

Have you considered the 1.3 SR? Lower insurance but still looks sporty.

As for mods browse the Yaris forum & you should find loads of places mentioned.

For insurance try Liverpool Victoria but Tescos & Elephant are said to be good also. :)

p.s Welcome to the club. :afro:

hi, i think the SR 1.3 would be a very good choice for you. i've recently traded up to the t-sport but my sr was one of the most fun cars i've ever drove  , never had any trouble with it and it went like F:censor: :censor:K hehehe. in fact, i was more impressed with the way that drove to my t-sport when i got it. go for it, you won't be dissappointed.....

try confused.com, its a bit slow but they'll give you a 30 quotes, insurance for the ladies is cheap anyway. CDX, SR and T-Sport are the best cars, avoid G, S, GS etc (1.0l model)

was payin 811quid but they gave me 25qiud cheque(Norwich union)

got 1.3 CDX, 2yr no claims, aged 23 and from Manchester

Location is a big factor, If i live in Worsley or stockport then my insurance would be 200quid less
