Just got Zosa....Led Zeppelin in the post today.

How the f :censor: has it taken me so long to get this excellant album...........

So I love guitar driven tracks like "stairway".....

What's your fav. guitar tracks.........????

Has to be Eric Clapton - tears in heaven... if only I could strum that, i'd never stop!

I got Michael Jackson - number one's in the post today, AWESOME.

waiting for outkast's album and black eyed peas, just taken delivery of clubland 4 which is excellent too.. well the 3rd CD anyway!

I think the guitar on some Smashing Pumpkin songs were great (shame I couldn't say the same for the vocals).

I might think of some others later.

Not my fave song of all time but certainly top 20 ish? Powerstation with Robert Palmer and their version of 'Get it on' has to be somewhere up there :afro:

Oasis... too easy mate... you can learn all their songs in 10mins if you sit down with the tab.

I've palyed Guitar for 25 years, Made a couple thousand dollars playing when I was younger. I'm 42 now.

There's also some old Blues Guitar stuff out there thats Great.

91celica loves cheese rock (and I liked some of it too).

I still haven't thought of any tunes.

As many are talking about playing the tunes..I used to play bass guitar (Its now at my parents house) and I can't think of any good bass lines either.

Its annoying cause I have faves (just suffering from old age memory loss) :wacko:

listen to jazz guitarits like wes montgomery and joe pass playing octaves and intricate solos that axl rose wouldnt know how to do if the speak and spell book "how to do intricate solos" was slapped on his lap! :P

besides,........smoke on the water - simple and moody. :thumbsup:

You're right there Dave mate.

AXL plays piano - not guitars....... :P

BUT having been to many a Jazz gig myself in my capacity as roving photographer in the muso industry - I can honestly say that the Jazz boys are in a league of their own sometimes. The drummers and guitarists that top the Jazz world would teach todays boys & girls a thing or two about live performing :thumbsup:
