Sienna Fuel Filter Replacement

When taking my Sienna in for the 30,000 mile service, the dealer recommended that I replace the fuel filter. While this seems reasonable, I checked the manual to see what the recommended replacement interval was and did not find it listed in the maintenance schedule. Is there a reason why fuel filter replacement is not included in the regular or extreme use maintenance schedules? What replacement interval should I use if replacement is called for? Thanks for the help.
