i have to install a cabin temp sensor, but where??

If it's for Climate control I believe mine and on most it is somewhere near the drivers left knee usually with 2-3 little rectangular holes. The Sun-sensor for it goes right near the windscreen just behind the instrument panel.

Yes it is...

But do you mean at the left of the driver, in a left steering wheel or in a right steering wheel configuration. Mine is a left conf.

And whats the Sun sensor? I've seen it but what does it do? :help:

My car is right hand drive and it is on the left.

The sun-sensor is there to read how hot and brightly the sun is shining. For example, if the Sun is out and burning brightly, then the interior of the vehicle will warm up more than it will on a cloudy day, it is a form of light sensor but with a bit more trickery. It helps the climate system to work out the external enviroment when controlling the temperature inside.
