Hid Kit For Corolla

Hi guys.

I am very tempted to get my self this HID kit:

Has anyone had any experiences with HID kits or yet even the above?

Worth it or waste of money?

Is there a difference or is it just all numbers?

couple of peeps on the cts forum have them - some have had some serious problems with cheap parts to. Ed shek and armz have them - try pm to them. i personnaly cant stand them - i'm sick of getting blinded by them, but them that have them swear by the extra light they through out. retro fits aint legal but me mate who is a mot man says they cant really catch you out on the mot unless you go silly bright as they dont have time to get to hot in the time it takes to test lights on the mot. i'm getting glasses instead

Apparently they dispense less heat than halogens though.

Factory fitted HID equipped cars come out of the factory with automatic self leveling headlights and headlight wash as a standard feature, obviously your car wont have these, i believe this contravenes part of the road traffic act. This is where it starts getting dodgy, if you had a crash and the 3rd party said you blinded them it could lead to your insurance being invalid. However as with all mods regarding insurance has anyone ever been done in this particular scenario?

Its a personal choice.
