2nd Hand Celica Or Cts?

A friend of mine is considering to buy a car. He prefers to

stay in Toyota family. At the moment there are two cars to be

considered. The first car is a 2nd hand celica TS, 1 and a half years old with 9k miles.

The celica has been painted in both the rear wings and the drivers door

but nothing major. The other car is the new Corolla TS. Both the cars have

almost the same price. The corolla costs 17500 pounds while the celica (2nd hand)

costs 19000 pounds. Consider that the cost of a brand new celica TS here is 25000 pounds.

What do you think? Could you please help?

Dude, where do you get your prices from?

You say "pounds" so I assume the UK.

The Celica TS is only £21K list price, so you should be paying around 19-19.5K - and that's brand new.

The Corolla TS is £16.1K so except to pay around < £15K.

I ain't driven a Corolla, but I've owned a gen7 Celica and it handles superb and can't imagine the Corolla being better.

As for the Corolla, well, it's a Corolla (nice car, don't get me wrong) but it's no Celica in the looks department is it?

The prices I mentioned are for Greece but I wrote them

in pounds so the people from uk who are the majority in this

forum can have a better understanding.
