I have standard toyota sat nav as you can see

is there any way to get dvd output on it.

i have spoken to a autoelectrical guy already and he reckons there is a reversing camera input but no sound input.

any of you guys have any suggestions.

i'd be using ps2 probably.

cheers

i was looking at retro fitting one of these until i seen how much the second-hand ones are fetching :( i put a post up about a similar thing and Armz - who had one for about a day - said it wasnt possible to play DVD and he seemed to know the score on stereo's. i did see a toyota DVD player that i thought was for the sat nav unit but its not compatible.

yep there is no input for sound. so you'd have to fudge some sort of cable up and use an aux in.

possible alternative solution

think these fit straight in gap aswell

mike

I've got a W200 in mine, but has about a 10mm gap each side, so not quite a perfect fit, but still looks much sexier than the toyota version
