Anyone know how much it costs to have the 'clutch release bearing' replaced on a Toyota Yaris 1.0 2002? I got a quote from Mr Clutch for the whole clutch at £289.99 inc vat.

thanks

Thats the way to go, a Complete Clutch.

No point in just replacing the bearing, its only 1 of 3 parts.

If your Bearing is just noisy you can live with it. Some do go noisy but clutch depending on driver should last 70k.

Price seems about right. Still need to shop around. Dont forget this is a gearbox out jobbie.

^ really? the whole 'box has to come out?

bugger...

My CRB has failed too (sounds like the dawn chorus!) and my clutch bites right at the bottom of it's arc too.

Driven carefully, I've probably got a few 000 miles left. Here's hoping...
