Lambda/oxygen Sensor

Hello All,

I wanted to know if anyone knew which sensor is Bank 2 Sensor 1 on an Avensis 2001 VVTI. The engine management light came on and after getting a diagnostic a error code P0155? Came up which referred to Bank 2 Sensor 1 but the guy in the garage doesn't know which sensor that is.

Has anyone replaced one of these and knows for sure which sensor is faulty?

Many thanks for your help.

Looking into engine bay at back of engine cover you will see engine removal hook, just at that point before cat you should see your sensor.

Thanks for the reply.

So it's not one of the top two then?

Is this sensor same as one of the top ones or are they all different?

Hi deewana, got the same problem with trying to ident the correct sensor. Did you suss it out and was the one next to the "hook" the correct one?

Most cars have 1 sensor, or 2, but why 4???? One of mine is duff also and needs replacing. How much are they?

With new cars that have 2 cat's right after the exhaust manifold, like 2AZ-FSE engine... There is a sensor before and after the cat. So that makes a total of 4 sensors.
