Ok done a little bit more, stopped for today now as im hungary and its a crap day lol :D

All masked up ready to go go! ;)

One coat of primer

2nd coat

Sanded it down againto fill in the indent rather than use filler

Its getting there but not quite as got to wait for it to dry now :)

Also will be sorting out my engine lid started to try and sand it down

Notice the undertray all paint flaking :(

Will be attempting to spray it and see how it will turn out, lots of masking tape to cover grills etc

Got bored so am experimenting with old parts lol, not finished with it yet

No where near finished, going to go for something unique an different although going rev3 :D

Sanded down my spare wheel to get ready to be refurbed just to tarten up the front boot!!

Thats it for now thanks to the rubbish day, lets hope it will be a better day when i next make progress!!

Ok not much atall today as i have not been well, but boot lid rust patch is ready for spraying now! and also i have just quickly sprayed over the mr2 Badge, just for a test run to see what it looked like and i like it so going to do a proper jobby tommorrow ;)

Done a little today basically just mowed my mothers lawn kept her happy for the day :P

my mrs was sun bathing so that meant i was bored and i was underneath my car mmmm dirt bathing ;)

Cut this off using hacksaw as i couldnt be assed to gp and buy a angle grinder altough future reference i will, but a good workout

As you can see got to cut off that bit yet but i took the backbox first for easier access, it was really heavy and quite restrictive from looks of it

Today was a annoying day as i got the rest of the exhaust of and tried to take the downpipe, now i have on the downpipe one stud off, one rounded and one snapped, oh the fun :(

Here is the rest of the exhaust which came off

Ended up getting new hacksaw blades and chopping one bolt head off and used a big hammer and it ended up falling off

Here is the downpipe condition and its poo so off it will eventually come, got to find me blow torch now

Managed to do abit more today and find some more brackets to paint!

ok people done abit more today got the downpipe off with my new irwin socket set what a great bargain!

Very dented due to keep hitting road service

Flexi section abit buggered

Manifold join, cant get the manifold off the support bracket bit, the bolt which joins is really tight

this is where im struggling to get the bolt off, any suggestions?

Thats it for now due to the manifold not coming off which is annoying but thats life

Right as promised got more pics and progress, took me like 3-5 hours with loads of tea breaks just to get the thing off due to rust and buggered bolts, but i wasnt going to give in ;)

Think i found a problem my exhaust manifold gasket was a bit worn and dead just crumbled in my hands :eeek:

Engine bay very empty now more excuse for cleaning around there now :D

Just shoved some tissue there so all the crap from the rotted gasket dont go in the engine!

Thats it for today as i feel dead now and can barely move my arms

No pics at the moment but got some brand new front clear indicators for £13 and have sidelight so uk legal etc

Also got a set of rev 3 rear lights but they were well......................................Cheap at £17.99 bargain

Im well happy, also steam cleaned the engine again to get all the crap off and then will attempt to spray a few more things :)

Got some pics of my new indicators did have some on itbut robbed them for the black one and though ide treat the white one fro new ones, but not fitting them yet as they will just sit there getting crappy in the rain

Also won a engine bay fan today for £2.99 another bargain and am going to make it look all good!

Not bad for £13 hey

Will get piccys of my rev 3 lights when i receive them, Going away for next week to wont be on here to update as wont be near car sure i can find something though :)

Little progress today nothing special as been a busy day but managed to sneak in the garage for an hour lol

I got a good condition engine bay fan for 2.99 from eBay, pulled it apart and started to spray it

Needs laquering and another coat yet

Here is the fan itself and im going to spray the whole unit red

Heres the fan mesh but run out of paint lol

Here is the soaking in the vineger method of some nuts and bolts and big metal thing lol

And here is me testing the rev 3 rear lights, just need the centre panel so if someone has one let me know and ill have it :)

Still need to sort boot lid so i can out spoiler back on but need to take a trip to halfrauds for paint :)

Well today i got some more paint and some gasket sealant, i got inpatient to and put my manifold on :) am going to put downpipe and exhaust on tommorrow :D
