Alarm And Immobiliser?!

I'm sorry if I'm asking a really stupid question to all you knowledgable yaris owners but i'm trying to sort out insurance for my Yaris (Colour Collection VVT-I 2003 998cc 3 door hatchback manual petrol) and I can't find any information as to whether I've got an alarm or what type of immobiliser I have. I know there's an engine immobiliser which works when the key isn't isn't in the ignition, but what to insurance companies class it as? eg thatcham 1/2, standard fit 1/2/other.

I'm so confused!! Please can someone help at all??

Thanks, Niki

I'm not sure what type the immobiliser is either, but only the t-sports had an alarm as standard

I would just put standard fit because you havent changed anything so its just whatever toyota put on that model standard.

It wont have an alarm unless its aftermarket but i believe all yaris's had imobilisers!

All Yaris's have a Thatcham 1 immobiliser as standard. Alarmwise would depend on the model and i think the above post is correct on that.

It has a EIS 2 Thatcham category 2 Immobiliser.

T-Sport has TVSS IVS Thatcham Category 1 Alarm & Immobiliser.
