'a' Service

Hi All,

Long time no post.

My 97 Celi 25th is in need of an A service soon. As its low mileage, the servicing has fallen out fo phase, and has been done annually by the previous owner.

So its time for another 9000 mile service at 58k (last service a year ago at 49k ), and recommended timing belt at 63k. Do i get the timing belt done now, or at the next service (67k)

It hasn't been serviced for 12 months, but im sure the 67k service will be within a year (prob 9 mnths).

And any recommendations in the Berkshire/Surrey/Hants area?

Cheers Aye

Chris

Check to see if the timing belt was done by the previous owner cos as far as I know Toyota recommend it be changed at 60K or 5 years - whichever comes sooner, so there's 2002 it should've been done.

I agree 60k. I use Harringtons in Portsmouth, who is a Toyota specialist. Reasonably priced and no complaints.
