Rust At Front Edge Of Roof Above Windscreen.

Found a very small patch on my Aygo today above the windscreen on the drivers side, looks like damage from a stone chip that has started to rust. Will fix this weekend hopefully. By coincidence, there is a very small rust spot on my wife's Rav4 in the same location!

i have noticed this rust too and was told to get real as it was a stone chip by my Toyota garage luckily i work in the trade and one of the dealers are Toyota approved so I'm going to get a second opinion from them. not good though on a 06 plate car

My Toyota Aygo was purchsed new from dealer, 6 months later guess what, i have rust on the leading edge of the roof .Took it to Toyota who told me it was stone chips..... Really !!! IF it was i still wouldnt expect the car to rust so readily, I told them that i had Escorts that were 18 years old and that none had rust due to stone chips. I think Toyota need to investigate this problem as there seems to be a problem with this area. Any suggestion as to what i should do ?

This is pretty interesting. My Aygo have been into the dealer for rust repairs twice now. But it's not above the windscreen, it's the left front door that's the problem. Looked like the rust had formed bubbles from inside and suddenly sprung out. But I'll sure keep an eye out for more rust. The two previous repairs was covered by warranty, luckily.
