Accessing Rear Brake Pads ?.

How do I get to the rear brake pads ?, can't get the cover off to see them.

EDIT: MK 1 btw if it matters.

Hey there once you have jacked car up and removed the wheel youll see the brake drum,

On the brake drum there should be 2 holes opposite each other which have a thread in them,i cant remember the size of the bolts you use, if you get 2 of them and place them in the holes and tighten them both equally and keep tighting until the drum pops off youll then see the back brake pads.

The drum just gets a little stuck on because of rust.

Remember to chock the front wheels and release the handbreak

Any idea of the size anyone ?.

Tried bolts a few I have lying round and no luck so far.

Hi i know its an M sized bolt but not sure if its M6 or an M8 bolt,but im sure it is one of these so it would be worth giving them a try
