Ah cool, nice one mate!! B)

I had one of those fitted to my Integra type R and it sounded like a touring car in V-Tec!!! :D

I wasn't sure how to fit it with the CTS having the MAF sensor, or what ever it is, so did it fit ok?

I'd rather have had one to the K&N, which I've got now.

Enjoy!

is it just a filter tip with MAF adapter plate? or a proper apexi kit job?

had an Apexi power Intake (imported from america) on my last car. it sounded awesome really did turn heads...

the filter is meant to be much more friently to MAFs etc not being the oiled type either.

it will basically clip on where the airbox is on the neck of the old piping if its just a universal cone.

Nengun

Will try and get it on this week and post pics when done.

All i need to do is remove the airbox and connect the MAF plate and filter to the existing piping

did you get an L bracket with it? i had to fab my own, took longer than the rest of the install!! getting it just the right size/length position etc!

what neck size is it? i take it its a direct fir and that you wont need a maf adapter plate?

thanks

nice, does that replace the maf housing then and u literally screw the map into that meck?

basically, unless u fab an L bracket, the whole thing is going to be limp and loose. an airbox is screwed into the car, so it doesnt move. now imagine the standard rubber hosing (from throttlebody) to MAF plate -> Cone there is nothing to support the cone and keep it "up" or in position,

an L bracket would screw into one of the holes left in the car by removing the airbox, and the Up part of the brackt would fix into one of the holes on the Apexi neck, therefore holding it into place

L - so the horizontal part screwed to car vertical part screwed to apexi.

you may find its getting the right angle/length and twiest/bend thats the trial and error time consuming part!

have a look at a K&N Filter charger kit (not the typhoon) they all come with the L bracket.

I will have a good look in the box tonight and report back!

Didn't pay much attention to the bags of cable ties/nuts/bolts etc....

ya id be interested to know as the part is quite cheap. ill see if i can find any piccies of my Sr20 with apexi.

imo you will need an L bracket, maybe a length of meccano would suffice im not sure, depends how high you want the filter holding up.

pics of my old one on my prim

Well there's no L bracket :(

But there are 2 metal brackets, one bolts underneath to hold it up and the other bolts to the side to stop it moving!!
