hi ive just sold my celica to go rwd again, ive a a few 200sx s13 nissans but with them always going wrong ive decided to get a non turbo mr2. I would like to get the gt t-tar but ive also seen a few gti's. Anyone know what power the gti's are? i know the gt's are 168bhp and the sports are 119bhp. any info would be great.

Also with a standard gt what sort of 1/4 mile time should i be looking at getting thanks

From memory these are rough figures, guessing the 1/4 mile

gti uk spec is 158bhp - rev1 - rev2 1/4 = 15-16ish

Mr2 gti uk spec rev 3+ 178bhp -1/4 mile =15-16ish

Mr2 g limited- 168bhp -1/4- 15-16ish

Mr2 beams- roughly 198bhp - high 14s- low 15s

Mr2 turbo rev 1 -2 = 220bhp - 14ish-high

Mr2 turbo rev 3+ 240bhp - low 14s

not sure pretty much all n/a's are the same anyway

Depending on the Rev, dont forget the MR2 put some weight on in its history!

if they all went up the 1/4 mile they would all be pretty level anyway apart from the beams and the turbo

I would avoid the T bar versions they're a pain for leaking in the rain, and having to stop and put the panels back on whenever it rains is a !Removed!:-/ Personally I like the G limited's as the Japanese imports seem to be better looked after than most Brit cars i've come across.

Thats a bit harsh, they literally take 10 seconds to put back on!

T- Bars are more desirable!
