They're not sure if they can get the black ones anymore.. may have to be these ones. Not sure if I like them tho..... :(

so where can I bolt the belts onto if I don't have a roll cage ??

If the firewall like bibbs suggested... how would you go about re-inforcing it ? I thought they bolted onto the seats somehow... doh !

Bit OVERLY red .. and if it's not the same shade as the car it'll look odd.

but if they knock 20% off

Bolt the belts to the firewall and re-enforce on the engine sides with big plates for strength ..

To comply with FIA rules (if you ever wanna go down that route) I think the straps cant go upwards from the rear mount point (if you get my drift .. they cant go up and over the seats - as it'd compress your spine in an accident if the seat went forward).

so they are usually mounted just below the window.

I've got the car in at CRD on friday getting some work done to it, so I'll tell them I'm getting new seats etc... see what they say about mounting the belts.

They are out of stock of the black ones !!

Mmmm... dunno what to do.. go red.. or look for seats in the UK.

Only bummer is that I've got the belts coming from the US already.

I have actually found another US site which stocks these seats.. ( the place I'm getting the belts from ) .

Will see if they will ship these to the UK... will give them a ring in a bit.

ok.. this other site is just messing around.. not sure if they will ship to the UK or not...

may go with the red as my car will actually be a brighter red after the respray... not 100% sure though.
