The whole white Rx7 thing fell through, but I have sold the Supra.

A chap in belgium bought it and is picking it up on the 20th.

So I've been on the hunt for a new car and after days of searching, finally found one I like.

It is a Toyota, I havn't had one before and it has a 1JZ-GTE engine.

Anyone fancy a guess as to what it is?

Is it bad that I didn't... and I even know that the 1JZ Chasers run a JZX Chassis code?

Jimlad is ot the Twin turbo variant or the single turbo VVti variant of thw 1JZ.. to help us narror wit down ;)

I reckon a JZZ-30 Soarer ;)

Well I can't see you getting a JZA-70 (or JZA-70R) looking at your previous cars.... so I will stick with JZZ-30 soarer ;) A few manual ones have crept accross recently!

Ching ching... correct mate.

JZZ30 Soarer. 1JZGTE Twin Turbo Manual.

Quite rare tbh, I could only find 3 for sale in the whole of the UK that were manual!!

Pretty much stock apart from the wheels and bodykit. Also has an aftermarket exhaust and Tein coilovers.

So first on the list....

1JZGTE Y-Pipe and Downpipe - - - from America

Stage 3 Clutch good for 450ft/lb of torque - - - from America

FMIC

Electronic Boost Controller

Walbro Pump

Boost gauge etc

Fuel Cut Defender

Possibly UK Spec Supra Brakes

Air Fuel Controller

New Plugs

Think that's everything needed performance wise to see me more or less the same power level as the Supra, but with something a bit different and a manual gearbox.

Once I've got the above, I'll get some different wheels, then start work on the interior! :)

I've also seen some nice black projector lights for the front and some blacked out lights for the rear that look decent.

Is there anything you can do with the interior? It's a sorta browny colour! lol

What ya think?

Why is it when I think of getting a car someone beats me to it? Haha. Nevermind.

Wooooo I love Soarers! Had my first one 9 years ago now!! No one knew what they were then :D Lag? What lag!

Nice motor mate... Although with those planned mods I'd budget for new turbos or at least a rebuild!

Turbo technics do a nice hybrid!

Yeah... if the turbos go pop, I'll buy some new ones.

Should be ok though at about 1.1bar ish.

How much to rebuild existing turbos?

I'll be starting to order the parts next week. :)

Plans changed at the very last moment!

Will consider one in the future though, quite like them.
