I presume you are only looking at single DIN head units at that price? If so you will need to buy in the fascia adapter and make sure you get the right one for your gen 7, pre or post facelift, do a search on these forums to find FAQ/help guides on that. Fitting is pretty easy to be honest.

Installation Guide by me!

Regarding head units, Kenwood, Blaupunkt,Pioneer,JVC and others all do single DIN units that play MP3s directly off a USB device and/or a data DVD/CD.

Some examples

JVC

Kenwood, has rear USB port, so you could thread it to the glove box or the compartment above the stereo:

Pioneer

You may want to browse the www.caraudiodirect.co.uk site to get idea of prices then look at the manufacturers site to get a full list of specs and even download the manual to read through and find any gotchas.

But before you buy pop into Halfords or whatever and have an actual look at the real units, the can look and "feel" different in real life. Heck they might even match the online prices you find, but don't hold your breath!

Best of luck!

Thanks

Good reply Jackel :)

You'll also need a PC2-17-4 ISO Connector (haven't read Jackel's link so if it's mentioned, my apologies).
