I like to think it's down to "sympathetic" driving and anticipation. Use the lift everyday, average around 40mpg, trips showing 43mpg at the mo averaged over 5 or 600 miles.

Those front pads still have around 4mm on them. It's had 3 tyres in all that, front two have done 16000k, rears one is as new, other has 5mm+ and the spare has around 4 to 5 mm.

No oil needed between services.

WHAT????

Are you sure? Anyone else think there is something wrong with his tripometer?

Same pads after 56K? Is that miles or kilometers??

If the above is true, I would certainly have an oil change between services, just to keep her running as well as she apperas to be...

We got 135,000 and the engine started knocking, so $1000.00 later we get a so called 40,000 mile used motor from Japan...500 more miles and the starter shorted out and had to replace same and both cables and do some repairs...

Car just drove from Phoenix to LA and got 35 and 38 MPG on the trip...

So heres to its second life.

Bought a 54reg 1.4 T3 Corolla 6 months ago with 6272miles on it.

Its got 15500 on it now tho, just love driving it!!
