1995 Rav 4 Rear Step

Can any one help me find a replacement rear step for my 3 door Rav4 (1995).

The original was damaged by a rear ender.

It came as part of a factory fitted accessory kit but Toyota tell me that it's discontinued.

Toyota part no: PZ415X1514AB - stainless steel.

HI Bodski +welcome to the mad house, if it is the rear step shown in the pic below + you still have the grey end pieces, one of our members (BOTHWELL BUYER) had the stainless steel part made up by a sheet metal worker at a very reasonable cost, other than that you can only search eBay or breakers yards, though i imagine they will be few+far between..

if you have a bit of it left, you can get a sheet metal worker / stainless steel worker to bend a new bit to the length you need then with a grinder just shape it at each end to fit. It cost me £20 !!! Nice shiny stainless steel!

Or if you're not the handy type, or dont know any fabricator's, try doing a google search for aftermarket types.

Unfortunately this one is discontinued, and its a bit pricey, but you get the idea. See link -

I should have said to get the sheet cut to the length you need with a little bit extra, then formed into the shape you need - I think its about 3 folds only so its a quick bit of work.
