Not sure if I can post this in here, but here goes. I'm looking for a rear wheel for a mk2 MR2 (15" 225 size) in good condition. I have recently bumped my car sideways and the wheel is buckled. Obviously I want to replace it ASAP - can anyone point me in the right direction?

The wheel looks like this - http://www.grahamcrane.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/mr2.jpg

Cash waiting for the wheel!

First off thats a !Removed! nice example m8  Shame about your incident tho :( . If your wheels buckled it sounds like a hefty impact especially considering the weight is in the rear relativley slow impacts can cause major damage.. Make sure you listen out to the hub for a 'droning' type sound when you corner on it, it might be knackered, check the 2 stabilizer arms that run into the hub they are the first to bend/buckle in hits like this and lastly pray your subframe aint bent cos your talkin sell the car :( . Your re-alignment will cost £88 of MrT too and check your shock aint leakin oil.

In the meantime switch your front wheel to the rear and replace the front with a space saver. DO NOT put that bicycle tyre on the rear unless you want a repeat incident, the front wheel will have to do in the mean time to replace your damaged wheel.

As for your wheel dilemma check in your local Autotrader for breakers. I will gaurantee you there will be plenty of busted mr2s and plenty of spare wheels about. Theres a good supply of em at this time of year my friend for obvious reasons. Be grateful you dont have the nice but annoyingly rare bling rev4 rims that were made only from 96-97 that I have :

Try gettin a hold on one of these at your local scrappy <_<

Actually..does ANYONE have these wheels? I can see a red MR2 on the IMOC site banner with em so they must be about. If any1 has any lying about gimme a shout ill buy a couple dont matter what sides.

These don't look standard for a Rev4 Pizza boy. Are you sure they were not refurbished originals as I have seen many Rev4's with the standard Rev2 & 3 wheels. Rev5 changed.

They do looks the muts nuts tho

I would seriously get your car checked over.

My subframe etc was screwed along with loads of other stuff.

I have them on my 96 GLTD I think its what they call diamond cut. Omly trouble is the salt here has ruined mine. They need a fresh polish and lacquer, no damage at all but quite a lot of corrosion.

I don't think there is any other damage to the car. But I want to get it replaced before it begins to do any damage - wheel bearings etc.

As Kelvyn confirms he has em and his car is a 96 too .Only available from 96-97 MR2s. Ive checked with Toyota...they are £365 EACH   :eek: .

Thanks Kelvyn for the Ad and yes they are complete behatches to keep clean. Mine were 101% mint when I bought the car but the rear nearside alloy laquer is comin off(doesnt look bad..just not as shiny as the rest really buggin me) after a idiot ned in a garage put acid on it after explicit instruction NOT TO USE IT...damn.

It's a home made afair. 3 sided construction, shaped to fit snugly in that corner, then coated in thermal heat barrier material aquired from motorsports specialist.

Pump the engine bay temp up, then feel inside and it's nice and cold
