hi

took my turbo down to john nobles yesterday, my motor produced 204.7bhp at 5525rpm peak power at 102mph the guy down there said that it had a weak actuator and wasn t hitting the boost that a standard mr2 should.

He also said that the intercoolers are rubbish on these and that water injection is the way forward but after my drive home and felt my intercooler and it was cold???? is this guy lieing to me or will the intercooler fail when the boost is increased.

For get the actuator - get a G-valve .. this will help you get more boost too ..

The IC's are poo .. they are tiny and not very efficient .. it's why you get such good results from WI and a new IC or a charge cooler
