I will be picking up my Surf on Saturday and will be usung it to tow a caravan. Does anyone know if there are any issues with the position on the spare wheel...does it obstruct the drawbar of the caravan.

Also, does anyone know the kerbweight of a '95 Surf 3.0 diesel?

Cheers

Hi ive had a Surf for about a year now and bought it to tow our caravan. On occations, depending on the approach angle to the van tow hitch, i do find i have to roll forward a bit, open the spare wheel and then connect. Not to much bother but in answer to you question, tes it can get in the way.(sometimes)

nigel

ps, it is only the jocky wheel stem or the hand brake that catches, Not the acual a frame
