Going to be fun here- only 4X4 using the fast lane of the dual carriage way I've just come down.

Came up our road 1.5 hours after leaving and the car was compacting the snow not going through to the road beneath.

That weather was awful, just driven from Lincoln to Newbury and the weather was awful ended up doing 40mph on the DC and Motorway. Got to drive down to Plymouth in the morning!!! There has been a weather warning released as well, so I'm going to set off about 3am to try beat the storm

Sorry to be the barer of bad news mate, but the forecasters reckon that london and the east will get 4 to 6 inches of snow through the night & tomorrow,

Still it could be worse, Australia is suffering the opposite extreme, with its biggest heatwave in living memory, with people dying , due to the extreme heat !

i'm near chelmsford in essex and we got about 1cm ish but cos i live in the stix the snow drifts will get to about 1- 2 ft!!! out comes the surf!

Temp here has dropped to -1.7C and the snow outside is starting to get a hard crust on it :censor:
