Help New Member With Levin

Hi everyone,

I am a new joiner today and I have recently become the owner of a Toyota Levin (1.6i 20v 165bhp) 2 door import.

On Thursday I am taking it for an MOT and everything seems to be fine except for the indicators. They do not work at all, either indicating or hazards.

As I think it's unlikely that all the bulbs have blown together, I believe that it will be the fuses or relay.

Can you please tell me:

1) Where do I find them

2) Which one(s) are for the indicators

3) What part number I need to take to get new one(s) at Halfords today

Thank you very much for your help!!

Kai

Welcome Kai.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but hopefully someone else will.

Great looking car by the way!

This might be related or not but when I unplug my hazzard switch on my MR2 the indicators dont work also.

the fuses should be located near your Battery - take off the cover from the fuse housing and have a look there, they are all labeled up. failing that try pulling out the coin tray which is located to the right of the stearing wheel.

did you buy that car of a guy called francis by any chance?

I've had a look at all the fuses and they all look fine - that's what is so confusing. It's 2 hours before the MOT now and I need to get them working!

Yeah, he and I did a bit of a swap for an MR2 that he wanted.
