0-60

was out last night and my mate had his gps thing (cant remember the name) doing some 0-60's and got it down the 4.9 B)

does this seem a tad optimisit or about right?

For a stock tubby a tad on the optimistic .. but below 5's isn't THAT hard to do :D

ive got a few mods, decat free flow zorst, air filter and had only qtr tank of fuel.

Yea I think the timing is gonna be a lil off I think. Was there two of you in the car? I think I hit 60 in about 5.2. Funnily enough thats atually the stock timing without mods but I dont think it matches up in the road. Scoobies have the most awful on the road timing to paper figures. It states 4.9 or something for a common 98 plate WRX but its more like 6 sec!

I think as a general rule its best to ad like a good 0.8 sec to factory figures cos Toyota and every other manufacturer quote them on jack fuel, zero additional weight, perfect surface and its probably being launched by an anorexic stig
