On our forum ( www.celica-club.co.uk ) i think there was a guy who had one in his garage (2.0 18-R).

this celica is now for sale for 50pounds.

the interior is in good condition only problems i know of are smashed windscreen, damaged ignition barrell and drivers door handle mising.

i need to get rid of this car a.s.a.p

I had my engine blow in my 1991 Camry LE and I went through A Jap Engine to get a new one it was around $600 and it was low mileage. My friend got a Mitsubishi Motor that didn't do as well as mine, I've put 60k miles on it thus far and it's done ok.

If your Celica is an '81, you need an 18R. I just happen to have one for sale which has been stood for a while, but was in good working order before the car was laid up - it just needs a carb, starter motor, alternator.

how much do u want for it, how long has it been sitting??

Its been sat in various garages for around ten years, but the bores where filled with redex before it was stored and it has been turned over every six - nine months or so since. I'd want £100 for it.

If thats too much I do have another which is in an RA28 I bought for spares, so I'm not so sure of its condition other than it does turn over freely - you can have it for £40.
