Only asking as I am from a Vauxhall background and you just clip on a new blade to the wiper arm with GM. Seem to remember with my Carina E you had to change the rubber only and it was fiddly as hell

You change the whole blade by "the hook" method and it's dead easy.

Can recommend wipex.co.uk for replacements, including the "flat aerodynamic" types I've just fitted recently.
