Stupid Question But....

I've not had my rev3 turbo that long, but there's something important I need to know.....

How do I check the engine coolant level??

I can see that there's a pressurised cap, but then this goes to another plastic 'reservoir'? Is this reservoir where you top up the coolant or should it be to the top under the pressurised cap??

have a look at the clear pipe for the res' .. there are Max and Min levels .. I'd just fill the coolant when cold .. then when hot the exces gets pumped into the res .. and then sucked back in when cool .. if it is over filled, there is a bleed hole in the top of the res ..

so you can't overfill the car will coolant. !!

Just remove the filler cap and check you can see coolant in the neck. If not refill. The expansion tank is pretty useless for judging the level as you can bearly see it.
