WTF!!!!!!! Does 3rd, 4th and 5th work or does the beast run a rally special only?

No idea, the tank isnt completely full so we could say the 3rd blob dissapeared rather than the first if that makes it anybetter.

Some fantastic figures coming up in this thread, looks like our Aygo is going to impress us!

Indeed....

But there is only one way to measure true consumption:

Full Tank to Full Tank, filled to the same level, preferably using the same

pump on the same gradient and noting the milage at each filling.

My 1300 Ford Escort has done 35.56 mpg - averaged over 11 years !

Not a bad figure :)

And accurate too, over 11 years. We'll have to see what our Aygos can do in the same period of time

  • 2 months later...

My first blob usually goes out at 88 or if I'm lucky 90-92miles. A full tank fo approx 35 litres give me a whooping :( 330 miles. Don't know what grade of fuel we get here but it sounds like crap. Also we have very short trips of around 5 miles from home to work and the most beastly of traffic jams every morning that makes an 8 minute journey last almost 30minutes and to top it up there is the summer heat so the AC is on morning (due to too much exhaust fumes) and evening (due to the Mediterranean sun). So you guys should all be considered lucky by doing over 400 miles per tank.

Best so far, 424.1 miles on the beep. I'm hoping I can get it up to 450 someday. :)

Well Done fella. Had that one a couple of weeks ago. But the MX5 has been back since so the hairdryer stays out and the Aygo stays put!!!!
